Ayala Customs is an up-and-coming BDSM equipment and dungeon design business based out of Ventura County, California. Engineer and owner, Vegeta Ayala, has been an active lifestyler for over 10 years, including running his own dungeon and hosting public events for eight years. While designing his personal dungeon, Vegeta found that it was very difficult to find the kind of high quality, safe, and creative pieces of equipment on the market that he wanted to include in his space… St. Andrew’s crosses and spanking benches that weren’t reinforced and didn’t feel safe, made of cheap materials, offered nothing unique, not built to hold up to the standards of real players. So he started designing his own equipment, and his 25+ years of experience in autobody collision repair gave his designs a distinct edge.
Vegeta’s equipment is custom crafted from a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and even car parts. Each piece is heavy duty and reinforced with safety top-of-mind; utility and creativity play a close second. Equipment made by Ayala Customs is created with purpose too. For example, the “Towers of Discipline” was inspired by Vegeta’s experience on a traditional St. Andrew’s Cross where he continued to want to call green during a session, but finally decided to stop because his shoulders gave out before his desire to end the session. The “Towers of Discipline” allows for someone to be locked in multiple shoulder-down positions. Vegeta has also designed St. Andrew’s crosses that can be folded down and put away (no tools required); a heavy-duty cage that can be easily taken apart for transport (no tools required); a spring-loaded spanking bench; a St. Andrew’s cross that lays flat like a table and can spin a person upside down; and much more.
